PPR-owned household goods retailer Conforama is to test a new smaller format called Confo Deco, the first of which is expected to open in France in the first half of next year.

Confo Deco will cover about 5,380 to 8,610 sq ft and focus on home decoration. Stores will be located in high traffic areas. In addition, a new Conforama is scheduled to open in Marseille later this month – the first new store to open in France, excluding those by franchisees, since 2007.
