German shoe retailer Deichmann has said it is targeting 200 stores within 10 years in Turkey, and is making an initial investment of E6m (£5m) to open 20 new stores.
Last year the retailer opened 44 stores in 23 Turkish cities. Deichmann Turkey managing director Atilla Ozkul said that
the chain experienced 68% revenue growth last year, and that Turkey was one of its strongest performing markets.
