Galeries Lafayette annual sales increase 13%

Sales from Galeries Lafayette department stores grew 13% in the year ended August 31.

The results were driven by a 25% sales increase at the flagship store on Boulevard Haussman in Paris over the year. Since 2005, 46 Galeries Lafayette stores have been renovated and there has been an increase in the number of brands and middle-range items offered. In addition, the Galeries Lafayette internet site has performed well.
