Lagardère Services has announced a strategic partnership with PPR-owned Fnac to develop a network of small stores (less than 3,770 sq ft) at train stations and airports across France and Spain. Lagardère Services will provide Fnac with its expertise in operating travel retail stores while Fnac will deliver its product and service offer. As the licence holder, Lagardère Services will operate the stores under the Fnac name.
Fnac chief executive Alexandre Bompard said: “This agreement with Lagardère Services will allow us to accelerate our position-taking in the dynamic field of travel retail and thereby increase our points of contact with our customers.”
