Online photo printing firm PhotoBox has appointed a former eBay executive as its new chief executive to replace Stan Laurent.
Jody Ford, who has spent 10 years at eBay, will join the Moonpig owner on July 19.
Laurent quit PhotoBox this month after 10 years in charge.
Ford’s most recent role at eBay was head of global growth.
PhotoBox chairman Doug McCallum said: “Jody brings with him a wealth of market-leading knowledge and expertise from his time at eBay, not least launching the hugely successful international multi-platform personalisation offering.
“His leadership credentials, coupled with his passion, global outlook and genuine appreciation for the PhotoBox culture we know and love, make him a great fit to lead us forward.”
Ford, who will move from his home in California to the UK, said he believed PhotoBox has “big potential”.
He added: “I am confident we can enhance and evolve our products and offering even further as we strive to make the next 10 years even more exciting than the last.”
