Fashion retailer Jaeger is extending its international reach with plans for its first Hong Kong opening in September.
It will enter the region with Harvey Nichols, debuting its high-end Jaeger London collection for women in the department store.
It will also sell part of its Jaeger 125 Limited Edition collection, which launched this year, to celebrate the anniversary of the iconic British brand.
Jaeger chief executive Belinda Earl said: “We are delighted to be working with the prestigious department store group Harvey Nichols, and increasing Jaeger’s international expansion.”
Jaeger has 47 standalone stores and is also sold in Harrods, Selfridges, Fenwick, House of Fraser and John Lewis.
In recent years Jaeger has been ramping up its international presence and is now sold in Australia, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, and North and South America. The retailer has been testing new markets online, offering shipping to selected European markets and the US. It is still searching for new markets in which to open its doors.
This year Jaeger has begun to phase out its agreement with Japanese licensee Sanki Shoji in order to take back control of its Japanese business.
