John Lewis has produced its first ever Christmas annual combining lifestyle features and gift ideas.
The 324-page annual, produced by publisher John Brown which also produces John Lewis’ Edition magazine, combines festive fashion and interior features with a 150-page GiftGuide.
The retailer has produced 680,000 copies of the paperback BeyondChristmas 2012 annuals which it began giving away in store this week.
John Lewis said the best of the annual will also available as an interactive iPad version.
John Lewis head of brand creative Paul Porral said: “We produce some beautiful publications at Christmas, both inspiring editorial and traditional gift guides.
“This year, the annual has brought these elements together in one place, to create the authoritative collection of John Lewis’s Christmas offer, allowing customers to see the best of our range as well as an engaging festive read.”
