Danish furniture retailer Jysk is set to open three new stores in former Dreams sites as it aims to double its UK store estate in the next 12 months.
The new sites in Bournemouth, Grantham and Pontefract will take the number of stores Jysk operates in the UK to 10.
Jysk, which is advised by Morgan Williams, launched its first store in the UK five years ago. Now it is ramping up its shop opening programme as it hopes to grow its store estate to 20 within the next year.
Jysk country manager Steve Stenhouse said: “Jysk is finding favour with British shoppers in some of the most challenging economic conditions and part of the reason for its success is its commitment to offering customers a good deal with quality goods at low prices”.
The retailer has over 2,000 stores worldwide and has a global turnover of €2.5bn (£1.9bn).
