Kroger is a leading US retail company founded by Bernard Kroger in 1883 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The largest US supermarket by revenue, more than 90% of its business is generated from its food stores, including supermarkets, hypermarkets and food and drug stores operating under well-known banners including Kroger, Dillons, Food4Less, Fred Meyer and Ralphs. Alongside its grocery business the company generates a small percentage of retail revenue from the jewellery sector, primarily operating under the Fred Meyer Jewelers and Littman fascias.
