Lidl has secured planning consent for a new store in Westhoughton, Bolton.

The store will total 11,442 sq ft with 67 car parking spaces, and is expected to open in time for Christmas 2009.

Lidl was advised by Indigo Planning.

Chris Smith, Associate at Indigo Planning, said: “The new Lidl was widely welcomed by the local community because it gives them the option of value food shopping without needing to travel out of Westhoughton.”
