LRC slams tube strike

The London Retail Consortium (LRC) has condemned the latest tube strike, saying it will cost retailers several millions of pounds through lost sales. LRC chairman Luke Mayhew said the 'transport chaos' damages London's reputation as a global shopping destination. 'We simply cannot afford this kind of self-inflicted damage,' he said.
