Landlord Aviva has launched a short-term pricing deal for its Triangle Shopping Centre in Manchester.
Aviva is offering shop units from just £500 a week, including service charges, rates, electricity and water. The minimum contract term is six months. It said it has some units already under offer on the new terms, but declined to reveal the retailers.
The Triangle has a 37% void rate at present and has suffered since the revival of the adjacent Arndale Centre. Triangle marketing manager Michelle Atack said that short-term deals will help retailers know exactly where they stand with their finances.
Property agencies Twentyretail and Tushingham Moore are letting the scheme.
