The collection, inspired by the theme of hotel living, will focus mainly on towels and bed linen but will expand into other areas by spring next year. It has been designed to expand the retailer's home offer from 'value essentials to best-quality, investment buys'.
Chief executive Stuart Rose said: 'We offer great-value products for the home but we wanted to give customers the opportunity to buy something slightly more luxurious. It made sense to extend Autograph, which is already a strong brand in clothing and beauty.'
Marks & Spencer's in-house design team have designed and developed the entire range. It will be available in 35 stores from July, as well as online.
