TikTok Shop UK has launched a preowned luxury fashion category where shoppers can browse through big brands added to the platform.
TikTok has seen huge engagement from creators, brands and fans across fashion with #TikTokFashion spanning 10 million creations, which include the latest designs, discovering trends, new looks and sustainable fashion.
The announcement adds to TikTok Shop’s expanding product ranges that already include fresh flowers and live plants, parenting and wellness.
The preowned luxury category enables people can learn about luxury fashion, search for style inspiration and buy “must-have pieces”.
Ahead of the launch, #prelovedfashion had already amassed 62,000 creations on the app and the new category aims to “reach a whole new audience”.
The preowned luxury category launches in partnership with Luxe Collective, Sellier Knightsbridge, Sign of the Times, Hardley Ever Worn It and Break Archive.
TikTok Shop UK head of operations Jan Wilk said: “This announcement is an exciting first step in the world of preowned fashion for TikTok Shop.
“TikTok Shop is already a leader when it comes to discovery-based commerce and with a vibrant fashion community thriving on TikTok, this provides a unique opportunity for retailers to reach new audiences and customers with an inspiring and accessible way to embrace luxury fashion.”
