Marks & Spencer has unveiled a swathe of promotions applicable from Thursday as high street stores battle for spend ahead of Christmas.
As well as reprising its "Dine in for£10" deal from Thursday until Sunday, offering four-for-three on all party food and cutting some Champagne prices by 50 per cent, the retailer will slash prices by up to 30 per cent on selected clothing and home lines.
Marks & Spencer executive chairman Sir Stuart Rose said: “We know that our customers are feeling the pinch. That’s why we’re committed to continue to offer a wide range of promotions to help make the festivities special for everyone.”
In one of the toughest run-ups to Christmas in memory, a wide range of retailers have been staging high-profile Sales and promotions.
Debenhams will begin another three-day event on Wednesday.
