Metro takes Intermec RFID

Metro Group has chosen Intermec Technologies' RFID tracking systems for its showcase Innovation Centre at Neuss, Germany. Intermec will supply forklift, conveyor and dock-door readers and RFID-enabled mobile computers and printers. The retailer has signed Waldemar Winckel, SRD Maschinenbau and Paxar to provide the RFID system that labels, identifies and tracks pallets.
