Mobile phone operator Orange is forging ahead with its expansion drive as it seeks to increase its footprint on the high street.
Orange has opened 20 shops so far this year to take its total to 369, and will add a further 20 by the end of 2009.
The latest signings form part of Orange’s bid to compete with rival mobile phone retailers including Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
Orange has also embarked on a drive to refurbish around 100 stores to update its portfolio.
Property agency Cushman & Wakefield is acting for Orange.
