Moss Bros has reshuffled its board and appointed new corporate advisers.
Ciaran McCloskey is to join the main board of the menswear retailer as group trading director with effect from September 1. McCloskey joined the retailer in June last year as director of business development and retail operations for the retailer’s Moss division.
Speciality Retail Group founder Brian Brick has also been appointed non-executive director, effective from the same date.
Moss Bros non-executive directors Robert Marsh and Rowland Gee are stepping down from the board. Marsh will retire with immediate effect and Gee, who is a member of one of the Moss Bros founding families, has resigned with effect from February 22.
Moss Bros has appointed Altium Capital as its corporate broker.
The changes at Moss Bros follow the drafting in of non-executive chairman David Adams last month. Adams, who is executive chairman of Jessops, joined the retailer following the departure of Keith Hamill, who left after the failed£40 million takeover bid for the retailer by its largest shareholder, Baugur.
