E-tailer My-wardrobe.com has reported a sparkling Christmas with sales up 210 per cent like for like in December.
In the second half of last year total sales increased to£2.56 million, an increase of 190 per cent on the year before.
Founder and chief executive Sarah Curran said: "In spite of the current climate, 2008 has been a phenomenal year for My-wardrobe.com, both in terms of sales and visitors to the site, with December sales defying all industry reports.
"This year is going to be extremely tough for everyone, but our focus will be on continuing to improve our product - providing our customers with luxury womenswear and menswear fashion that’s accessible in terms of price, coupled with exceptional customer service."
The site, which sells women’s designer clothes, shoes and accessories at present, will launch its first menswear offer this month.
