Home shopping group N Brown has acquired two new brands from womenswear group Slimma.

N Brown has paid £800,000 for womenswear brand Slimma and lingerie brand Splendour.

Slimma will be sold via N Brown’s JD Williams and Julipa brands and Splendour will be sold via Figleaves, Simply Be and Fashion World.

The womenswear group has to change its name from Slimma to CDU as part of the deal, and is currently seeking shareholder approval for the move.
