N Brown, the internet and home shopping group, is to launch a plus-size menswear brand called Williams & Brown
N Brown will target men aged 45 to 60 with a collection featuring both tailoring and casualwear in a bid to cash in on the growing demand for menswear in larger sizes online, according to the Sunday Times.
In its interim results for the six months to August 29, N Brown said menswear was its fastest-growing business segment, with sales up 12% on the previous year.
N Brown bought the assets of plus-size menswear retailer High & Mighty in September as part of a pre-pack administration.
Last week N Brown chief executive Alan White said at the Retail Week Conference that the ultimate goal for multichannel retailers is to abandon catalogues and concentrate on digital sales.
