Next has signed up to anchor the newly refurbished Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend.

The retailer is to occupy a 20,000 sq ft store in the scheme, owned by Delamere Estates, in the centre of the city. It is relocating to The Victoria Shopping Centre from its present store on the High Street in Southend, joining the centre’s other anchor store New Look.

The landlord was represented jointly by Jones Lang LaSalle and Gooch Cunliffe Whale.
