Nordstrom Inc is a luxury US fashion retailer headquartered in Seattle. The business was founded as a shoe store in the early 1900s by Swedish emigrant John W. Nordstrom. The group operates more than 115 full-line Nordstrom stores and 250 or so Nordstrom Rack clearance outlets, with dedicated ecommerce sites for both. As well as stocking leading brands, Nordstrom has a total of 50 private-label brands, all designed in house by an internal Nordstrom design team.
