Online marketplace Notonthehighstreet has launched an app on the new Apple TV, the first retailer to do so in Europe.
The app, which is available via the App Store on the new service, offers customers access to its entire product range. It has key features such as a curated Top Picks on the home page, an intuitive search function and the option to save favourites, which can then be synced with the etailer’s Gift Finder app on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
It also allows customers to view products full screen and offers videos with tips and tricks for potential gift ideas and contents on the small creative businesses that work with Notonthehighstreet.
Simon Belsham, chief executive of Notonthehighstreet, said: “The launch of the app for the all-new Apple TV supports our continued focus on leveraging the power of technology to create compelling customer experiences with creative small businesses.”
Notonthehighstreet, which was founded by Holly tucker and Sophie Cornish in 2006, is the second retail brand to launch on Apple TV after US-based members-only marketplace Gilt.
