Fashion etailer My-Wardrobe.com enjoyed a record month in December, passing the £1m sales barrier in a month for the first time.
Sales were £1.1m, up 121% on last year, with its biggest shopping day falling on December 15.
My-Wardrobe founder and chief executive Sarah Curran said 2010 will be a very interesting year for online with big names including Selfridges, Zara and H&M joining the world of ecommerce.
“With a brand like Selfridges going online it will bring more footfall online, which is a positive thing. Of course it will make things tighter but there are new customers coming online each week,” she said.
She added that 2010 will be a key year for fashion etailers to focus on their menswear offers as more men move their fashion shopping online.
