Gap has soft launched its first transactional websites in the UK.
The sites, which will officially launch next Friday, will offer the full product range from Gap and Banana Republic.
Gap is the first of three major global fashion giants set to go live with transactional websites in the UK in the coming weeks. Zara plans to launch on September 2 with H&M launching two weeks later.
On Gap’s new site all orders over £50 will be delivered for free with returns also offered for free to customers.
The news comes as Gap reported that its online sales across its business grew 15% in the three months to July 31 to $258m (£166m).
