Online giant Littlewoods is to sponsor ITV’s new Saturday night show Superstar.
The sponsorship runs across TV, online and mobile for Superstar, in which Andrew Lloyd Webber embarks on a search to find the lead role for his Jesus Christ Superstar rock opera.
Littlewoods brand director Gary Kibble said: “Littlewoods is delighted to be supporting Superstar, which we predict will become must-see viewing for the whole household.
“The integrated sponsorship package that Carat has negotiated on our behalf fits perfectly with our market position as the UK’s leading online and mobile department store.”
The show airs tomorrow at 7.25pm.
