Marks and Spencer has launched an outlet format online for the first time today.
The site allows customers to purchase over 1,300 lines of womenswear, menswear, lingerie and kidswear at up to 40% off the regular high street and online price.
M&S launched its outlet format stores in November 2000 and now has 50 outlet stores across the UK in locations including Slough, Leeds and Thurrock, but the service has never been available online before now.
“The internet is often the first port of call for shoppers in search of a bargain, as it offers a quick and convenient way to compare the deals available,” said Richard Fox head of M&S Outlet.
“We’ve responded to our customers’ increased demand for online access to great value by extending our popular outlet offer on our website – making it even easier for customers to treat themselves to the best of M&S at even better prices.”
To coincide with the launch of M&S Outlet online, the retailer will be offering free standard UK delivery to customers spending £30 via the Outlet site, until Sunday March 4.
Customers signing up to the M&S newsletter are also being offered 10% off their first order with M&S Outlet online.
