New Look is to replace its website platform with a system from ATG.
It intends to introduce a more personalised and multichannel user experience, by introducing the ATG Commerce platform which is also being adopted by retailers including Figleaves and Tesco.
New Look group business change director Adrian Thompson said: “We have recognised our customers’ appetite to enjoy a true multichannel experience, and feel that the ATG platform will enable us to successfully deliver the e-commerce element of that customer-centric strategy.”
New Look first launched a transactional website in December 2007 working with E-Inbusiness, and since then has grown the ecommerce business quickly, with a peak of 1.1 million visitors to the site in a week before Christmas 2008.
