She will lead Secret Sales’ commercial development to drive further sales growth. She is one of a raft of recent appointments at the etailer including chief financial officer Will Dresner, chief marketing officer Robert Moss and chief technology officer Douglas Squirrel.
Secret Sales co-founders Nish Kukadia and Sach Kukadia said: “As Secret Sales continues to post record results while also rolling out key development, product and marketing initiatives, now is the right time to review and redefine our commercial strategy. We welcome Melanie and look forward to delivering an even stronger second half of 2013.”
Traub said: “Joining such a well-known and highly-regarded flash Sale business, is a really exciting prospect. My background working with leading retail brands attracted me to Secret Sales who offer such a great range of luxury and high street brands, and I am very much looking forward to leading the company’s commercial development.”
