Allan Winstanley, House of Fraser’s executive director of menswear and kidswear, has become executive director of womenswear, accessories, beauty and visual, replacing Stephanie Chen who will leave the department store to join Marks and Spencer next year.
Hay, who joined House of Fraser in 2005, will now sit on the department store’s board and will report into chief executive John King and he takes up the role with immediate effect.
As a result of Winstanley’s move, Jackie Hay, currently director of buying for menswear and kidswear, has been promoted to fill the role Winstanley is vacating as executive director of menswear and kidswear.
House of Fraser chief executive John King said: “I am pleased to announce these two changes to our executive board. Allan has been instrumental to the growing success of our menswear business, and with his extensive experience in fashion, I have no doubt he will be extremely successful in leading our womenswear team.
“I am also delighted to announce the promotion of Jackie Hay to executive director, menswear and childrenswear.
“Jackie has a successful track record at House of Fraser. She has been a key member of our menswear team and thoroughly deserves her promotion. I look forward to working closely with both of them to build on the success of our brands and fashion offering.”
