Boots has named its new managing director

The UK’s largest health and beauty retailer has announced that retail and operations director Anthony Hemmerdinger will take on the role of managing director when Seb James steps down.

Boots parent company Walgreens Boots Alliance said Hemmerdinger’s appointment follows a “thorough search process which considered both external and internal candidates”.
