BP has made two internal appointments as it bolsters its UK retail leadership team.
Jo Hayward will take on the role of vice-president for mobility and convenience retail while Natalie Cattermole will become senior dealer manager.
Hayward was formerly vice-president for convenience in Europe and will replace Sonya Adams, who will become chief of staff to BP chief executive Murray Auchincloss.
Hayward’s new role will see her being responsible for BP’s network of approximately 1,150 retail sites in the UK.
Cattermole was previously the UK senior marketing manager at BP and will now lead the dealer team and report to Hayward.
Her role will see her continue to build relationships with dealer partners, which make up around 850 sites in the UK.
The changes arrive as the BP group looks to grow its UK retail business, with convenience being one of its five transition growth engines.
BP has recently hired a raft of people from the retail sector, including Claire Farrant as vice-president for marketing from Lidl, Joanne Hall as UK retail operations director from Sainsbury’s and David Phillpot as European convenience trading director from M&S.
BP senior vice-president of mobility and convenience for Europe Tracey Clements said: “I am delighted to have Jo and Natalie on our UK leadership team. They are both fantastic leaders who bring deep customer insight and retail experience to their new roles.
“With this expertise, I am sure they will build on the great progress made in recent years to grow and transform our retail business in the UK, helping us to become the first choice for customers on the move.”
