British Land head of retail Andrew Jones to leave

In a statement on its website the landlord said Jones is “considering leaving British Land and he has commenced discussions with the Company regarding the timing of any such departure”.

Jones, 40, joined British Land in July 2005 and was appointed to the executive committee in August 2005, and later made an executive director in July 2006.

Previously he worked at Pillar Property, which was acquired by British Land in 2005. He had worked at Pillar since 1995, and was responsible for retail park and asset management.
