- Susanne Given named new chair of digital doctor service Push Doctor
- Given’s appointment comes six months after she landed Made.com chairmanship
Made.com chairman and former SuperGroup executive Susanne Given has been appointed as non-executive chair of Push Doctor.
Given, who replaced Made.com co-founder Brent Hoberman as chair back in April, has taken on another boardroom role with the digital doctor service.
Former SuperGroup chief operating officer and TK Maxx UK managing director Given has been drafted in to “assist with the strategy and delivery of a rapid growth plan for the business”, Push Doctor said.
The business, which allows patients to receive medical advice from a UK-based GP or doctor in real time video via smartphone or tablet, raised $8.2m (£6.7m) in funding in January to bankroll its growth strategy.
Push Doctor aims to transform healthcare into a “client-centric and on-demand service” to suit Britain’s time-poor but tech-savvy population.
Given described Push Doctor as “a truly disruptive business and the leader in a category which will transform healthcare as we know it today.”
She added: “Push Doctor’s proposition is redefining how and when patients can receive excellent healthcare, and as it develops its proposition to include preventative health and wellbeing services, it is well placed to become the online healthcare provider of choice.”
