Lifestyle retailer White Stuff has appointed The Body Shop managing director Alastair Kerr as non executive director to advise the business on international strategy.
Kerr will take up his post on August 18 and will advise White Suff on expanding upon its recent push overseas.
Underlying profits at the retailer rose 42% to £13.3 million for the year to April 26. Total sales at the 60-strong chain were up 34% to £58.4m for the period.
White Stuff will open 30 more stores over the next three years and is looking at retail opportunities outside of the UK and Ireland.
