Arts and crafts retailer Hobbycraft has made two top appointments after hiring senior executives from Waterstones and Pets at Home.
Mike Giffin joins the company as chief financial officer from Waterstones where he has been finance director since 2007. Previously, he has held financial roles at Space NK, Sports Resource Group and HMV Group.
Dominic Jordan is HobbyCraft’s new retail operations director, leaving his role as head of retail operations at Pets at Home after 12 years with the business.
Hobbycraft chief executive Catriona Marshall said: “Their skills and experience in the UK retail sector will further enhance our management team as we continue to make encouraging progress in building this exciting business”
Pets at Home regional director for the north George Lingwood has been promoted to fill Jordan’s position after 13 years at the retailer. He will begin his new role next month.
