Lidl’s UK managing director Ronny Gottschlich takes his competitive edge out of store and onto the race track at the Lidl Olympics.

Lidl’s UK managing director Ronny Gottschlich revealed at a recent event he is pretty competitive on the track as well as in stores.

He told Retail Week that at the Lidl Olympics recently he was speeding ahead in the go-karting race and looked set to take first place, but was given the black flag for “dangerous overtaking”.

The big four might wish they could give Lidl a black flag too as it races to try to overtake them.
