Morrisons business development director Grant Henley has left the company after 10 years at the grocer, it has emerged.
Henley was one of a small number of Safeway executives who joined Morrisons when the chain was acquired by its larger rival in 2004.
He worked on integrating the Kiddicare business into Morrisons after the grocer acquired the etailer in 2011.
Morrisons said Henley retired in May. The grocer said it had not yet made a decision on whether to replace Henley directly.
In April it was reported that Morrisons’ corporate brand and marketing director Belinda Youngs was to leave the grocer amid a shake up of responsibilities.
That followed the exit in January of Morrisons’ online executive George Dymond, who resigned just weeks after joining the grocer. Dymond, a former Coles executive, was brought into Morrisons to oversee its online operation that was launched in partnership with Ocado in January.
