Morrisons fashion boss Tim Bettley is leaving the retailer as part of the sweeping changes being made by new chief executive David Potts.
Bettley joined Morrisons as commercial director of clothing in March 2012, having previously been managing director of Peacocks, and was later promoted to a trading director of general merchandise and clothing role.
During his time at the retailer he was responsible for launching the Nutmeg childrenswear brand.
Hilary Leam will now head up the grocer’s clothing business as she takes on the trading director for general merchandise and clothing role.
Christine Bryce remains as head of merchandising, while Claire Cave remains as head of buying.
Customer director Crawford Davidson is also leaving the business after two years in the job.
Davidson was responsible for launching the Morrisons’ Match & More loyalty card last year to much fanfare.
The latest departures are part of an overhaul by Potts, who is seeking to cut a third of the retailer’s 2,300 head office staff.
The unveiling of the swingeing cuts came shortly after Potts axed five members of the senior management team.
