Furniture retailer Multiyork has appointment Adrian Iles and Oliver Spark as joint managing directors after the departure of executive chairman and chief executive Indira Thambiah last month.
Iles has worked for Multiyork for more than 20 years, and will take over the responsibility of the production, finance, HR, IT and commercial operations of the business.
Spark, formerly managing director of The White Company, assumes the responsibility of product strategy, marketing and retail.
Owner Wade Furniture Group’s Charles Wade returns as chairman after Thambiah’s departure, revealed by Retail-Week.com this week.
Daniel Wade will join the board as a non-executive director.
Charles Wade said: “Both Adrian and Oliver look forward to working with the team to meet the challenges ahead, in what we all know, are difficult market conditions.
“I and my family as shareholders continue to be fully supportive of the business and invest in Multiyork, as we have done over many years.
