Pets at Home veteran Louise Stonier has joined Medivet.

Stonier, who was most recently chief operating officer and managing director of Pets At Home Vet Group, has taken up a new role of chief operating officer for UK and international for Medivet.

Stonier joined Pets at Home as head of legal in 2004, where she remained for 10 years before moving up the ranks and spending time in roles including a three-year stint as chief people and legal officer and two-and-a-half years as chief people and culture officer.

During her time on the board, Stonier guided Pets at Home through private equity ownerships with Bridgepoint Capital and US buyout fund KKR, as well as its IPO in 2014 and the acquisition of Vets for Pets the year prior.
