Upmarket fashion retailer Reiss has appointed Sanjay Sharma to the newly created role of international director for Reiss.
Sharma, who joined Reiss today (Monday), in June left property developer Land Securities’ Brand Empire venture, designed to help new retailers open in the UK, as revealed by Retail Week.
Before that he was international director for Karen Millen.
He will “work closely” with founder David Reiss to “spearhead the global expansion of the brand”.
Sharma is the latest senior appointment for Reiss, who hired former Boux Avenue ecommerce boss Dan Lumb in August as its ecommerce director.
Manuela Morin joined Reiss last month as its creative head of accessories.
The retailer said David Reiss is “really excited about the next phase of Reiss’ global expansion and the significant contribution to the future success of the brand that Sanjay will play”.
