Home decor and furniture brand Neptune has hired ex-River Island chief executive Will Kernan as its new chairman.

Kernan was chief executive of River Island for almost four years, before stepping down in November 2022 to pursue personal projects.  

Prior to his stint at River Island, Kernan held chief executive roles at cycling and tri-sports specialist Wiggle and The White Company, and was chief operating officer at New Look.

Kernan is already chairman at luxury gift brand Biscuiteers, which he joined in 2017. 

Based in Wiltshire, Neptune specialises in furniture and home accessories, which it sells online and through its 32 stores.
