Sales up 6 per cent
Poundland shoppers voted with their cash this Christmas, as like-for-like sales rose 6 per cent in the four weeks to December 31.

The retailer's seasonal goods were top sellers and the retailer sold more than 300,000 giftwrap rolls during the four-week period.

Poundland has more than 150 stores nationwide and serves more than 1.5 million customers each week.
