Pre-tax profits at lingerie specialist La Senza soared to £10.3 million for the year to March 29, up 71.7 per cent from £6 million the year before.
Sales increased by 20.9 per cent to£118.8 million in the same period, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
In the report the La Senza directors said: “This performance was excellent in a very competitive market place.”
At the end of last year La Senza introduced a new pink and black fascia, which it is rolling out across its portfolio.
Chief executive Rose Foster said La Senza will open 20 stores before the end of its current financial year.
New stores already opened this year include flagship outlets in the Westfield London shopping centre and a second site on Oxford Street.
The retailer has also taken its first steps into wholesale with a deal to sell La Senza perfume at Boots.
