Rent-to-own electricals and furniture retailer BrightHouse has made a raft of senior appointments including its first head of ecommerce.
Colin Madders will lead the retailer’s digital growth and will create a mobile strategy. Madders previously headed digital marketing for the Direct Line, Privilege, Churchill and Green Flag brands.
The retailer has also created two other new roles to help expand the business.
Peter McTague has taken up the post of business development director. He was previously head of property at BrightHouse. Mark Lynch has been promoted from head of supply chain to director of supply chain. They all took up their responsibilities last month.
BrightHouse chief executive Leo McKee said: “Peter, Mark and Colin will all play a key part in shaping the strategic direction and continued growth of BrightHouse over the years to come.”
McKee told Retail Week in January that as part of the retailer’s online overhaul, BrightHouse will allow customers to make payments on its site from June.
