I recently needed a product repaired, but as a result of their difficulties, Comet was unable to send an engineer for up to three weeks (and then no guarantee). I'm concerned that the Comet one year warranty is rendered meaningless as a result of the company's troubles.

The customer service I received was appalling (they couldn't care less) and it wasn't until I emailed the CEO that I made any progress (and they replaced the item).

I'll never shop at Comet again, and I suggest that other customers who have been through the mill with them in recent weeks will be similarly minded.
