A sad day for the employees who will probably walk way with nothing....

TRU has been in terminal decline for years - its another example of an overseas business thinking its knows best. Many analysts go on about the internet threat but the biggest issue for TRU over the last few years has been that Smyths has come in and taken its business on out of town retail parks. Smiths stores are far better and cheaper and they have none of bureaucracy of the TRU business.
