3.2% increase on pre pandemic levels isn’t great at all, a comparison when Debenhams had its last proper Xmas and many other brands still existed, plus the fact they’ve added 3rd party brands in the last 6 months and added / bought Jaeger - tells a less rose tinted and fairer assessment.

Even the improvement in full price sales is an interesting metric, when the retailer reduced RSPs in the first place, effectively discounting from the start.
